What are plugins?
Sophia Forge is built around a modular plugin system. Every feature is a plugin you can turn on or off depending on what your project needs.
Sophia Forge works on a modular plugin system: everything can be plugged in or out depending on what your project needs. Each plugin can add sidebar entries, entities, or extra functionality to other plugins.
Some plugins have no sidebar entry of their own. The Notes plugin only adds a notes panel to your entities; you reach it from inside any entity that supports notes. Others have a sidebar entry but no entities. Project Tracking is one: it adds the Dashboard and Progress sidebar entries so you can see how things are going, and attaches status fields to every entity in the background. Most plugins do both. The Items plugin has its own sidebar entry, and each item you design is an entity in its own right.
Every project has different needs, so plugins are how you shape Sophia Forge around your project, not the other way around. Toggle anything on or off in Project Settings, reachable via the Settings button at the top of the project sidebar.
On the roadmap: third-party plugin support, so anyone can build a plugin and drop it into Sophia Forge.
